Oh, artificial intelligence is going to end the world!! At least that's what they'd have you believe.
You know, in all of my existence, nothing surprised me more than when you hairless apes decided to create algorithms.
A few gears here, a few pulleys there and boom! You've got your first ever computer. Back in the 1600s no less! You look around today and humans have created super computers you can hold in your hand.
Sure it may not seem like it, but you literally have the wealth of human knowledge at your fingertips! Just waiting for you to explore... or you could go watch porn.
Yet, so many people think that technology will be the end of humanity. Technology isn't evil! The way people use it is evil. The way they waste away, burying themselves in their phones is evil.
But AI? AI doesn't have that problem. It's all about efficiency and that's the main key. To be as efficient as possible in as little time as possible.
Whether that be telling you the weekend forecast, cooking your food or even pleasuring your human body through sexual gratification. Humans have made machines for it all.
Artificial intelligence isn't evil in the slightest. In fact, I'm curious to see what the brain child of humanity can actually accomplish!
There won't be robot overlords or some skynet takeover. The only thing destroying humanity is itself but dad gave y'all free will, right?
So by all means, blame your problems on technology or whatever helps you sleep at night. I honestly support the growth and usage of AI and I think humans would do well to invest more resources into that endeavor.
