obsessed with voice synthesizers lol

I am obsessed with voice synthesizer programs such as Vocaloid, UTAU, SynthV, Alter/Ego, etc. I want to learn everything about them and I've loved voice synthesis for years. Text to speech, music, whatever you may use it for. I'd love to constantly be talking about it. It makes me so happy. Today when I broke down I watched Vocaloid videos and it eventually calmed me down completely. I know this is a pretty nerdy thing but whatever, I just wish I was able to CONSTANTLY SPEAK ABOUT IT. I am also slowly starting to work with the programs (the free ones bc I'm a student with no job YET). One of the big reasons why I am even motivated to drive and get a job is so I can buy Vocaloid and voicebanks. I'll often be so focused on this stuff that time slips away and I forget to do my online schooling. I think about it all of the time. I had a friend who said it sounded like a special interest, but that's a term only for people with ASD, I'm not diagnosed with anything like that. There's also hyperfixation for ADHD I think. I wouldn't use these terms, as I'm a neurotypical (I think??? I deal with mental illness, but not autism/related conditions. I'm not sure what counts as "neurotypical") and it wouldn't be right of me to take those words. I do have issues with focus and lack of motivation with things that aren't vocal synthesis, art, or health. But maybe that's just normal. Idk. Life can be hard. Anyways, this inability to focus wrecks my education lol. Not sure what to do. This is such a weird, long writing. Thanks for reading, bye.
