I never beat or harm my puppy I actually spoil her with all the food she might like and pamper her with all the needs and love. We play a lot of fetch. Until one day she starts to bite hard and cause me a little blood. She also starts to bite my mom and dad. We never shout at her as well. Is she too spoil and need to be in a cage? She is still 3months old now. She is half golden retriever and half german malinois. We already go to the vet and they told us it was just her teeth starts to itch so it is normal. But I am scared that it will be normal for her to bite us I want her to grow not like that.

yeah all of her teeth will fall out and get replaced with adult teeth. usually around 6 months they are all replaced.
Kennel training is only the way to go if you work and need her to be locked up or when everyone is out of the house.
You should exhibit basic dog training. Also remember to talk to her, teach her small words like sit, eat, drink, lay down, outside.
ReplyIt's a fairly common theme for little pups to accidentally bite and break skin.
They are still learning to love bite. Excitement may be a particular factor here. Say you're giving your pup some love and having fun and suddenly they bite you fairly hard.
They don't particularly mean to be that rough, they're just excited. So I might suggest you try to calm the pup down prior to play or petting.
If the pup still bites hard after that, stop doing whatever it is you're doing. If you're giving them a snack, just allow them to eat. If you're petting them when they bite, stop petting them.
Eventually they will begin to associate biting with something they enjoy stopping. So if you're playing when they bite, stop playing. Itll take a bit for them to learn the lesson but you'll notice once you stop doing stuff after a bite, they'll stop biting as much.
If by any chance you've been enticing your pup to bite, usually by placing the side of your hand or the side of a finger in their mouth, I'd strongly recommend stopping.
It's all about association. You don't want to hurt your pup or anything for biting. Just stop giving them attention.
Replyshe can't help it, its an instinct to bite while she's teething. She's a baby doge 🥰🥰🥰 she's not trying to hurt you, its how she will get her new teeth
ReplyThank you everyone ♥️♥️
ReplyI suppose it is like a phase when human babies are given chewing toys to bite because they're teeth are new... Something like that.
ReplyFlick or whack her nose. Tell her "no" sternly. Make sure she doesn't think that you are playing. Don't pet her for a while until you think her punishment is over. Let her have a chew toy or an empty soda bottle (plastic obviously) so she doesn't bite you or your parents anymore.
