Maybe that's just natural. I've met a number of people who claims to be "a man of his words", those who preach about good deeds, and more often than not, i witness that these people tend to become what they discriminate, or so detest. It's perplexing to see just how blind a person can be of his own words and actions. It could be that when you determine the things you think are right, it's easier to come up with what is "bad" or "wrong" than to actually perform or become the things you've set to be ideal. Because people tend to be lazy, and it's easier to discriminate than to act what we preach in order to just constantly fool ourselves that we are still in the "right" path, that is, by looking for something/ someone that can possibly set the bad example.

Hence the very common "do as I say, not as I do" mentality in many of our leaders, especially those who commit adultery, avoid paying taxes, marry immigrants, pay porn actors for sex... etc. etc.
