My employer is not being respectful of my mental health. I had a depressive episode and suicidal ideation that caused me to leave early last Friday. I understand I should have communicated better but after I confided in my boss as to how I was feeling, he basically proceeded to cut me down and make me feel worse, say I was playing “that card” and dismiss my feelings, saying that “everyone goes through things”. He even placed me on probation for when this is the only time I’ve ever left without getting it cleared or done anything else wrong. Even today when I went to the ER for a panic attack, the girls at work had to talk him down from the ledge of going off on me. I don’t feel comfortable in this work place where my mental health (I’m diagnosed with OCD, Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD) is not being respected but I also am living paycheck to paycheck so I cannot afford to quit.

Your mental health issues are coming in the way of every day things like work. That is tough. However, your boss also has a point. You need to keep up with work.
If these things are making it difficult for you, then maybe you should quit work for some time and dedicate the time to yourself. If you cant afford it, cut down on your costs or switch work with a different boss :)
