Can Christians be gay? I'm bi and I never can commit to a relationship because of this fear inside me. If your not a Christian please don't try to answer. I appreciate your comments.

Before you are a Christian, you are a human being and as a human being you have the right to love whoever you want. I hope you are strong enough to stand up for what you believe in and who you are. This world is tough to live in. Good luck <3
ReplyIt's up to you...If you're really religious and you fear about disobeying the commands...then here's my opinion:
God loves everyone, no matter who you are. He condemned homosexuality because he KNOWS that he made homosexuals in this world.
Now, if you're BI...that means you're attracted to both male and female gendered individuals...which makes it easier for you. Try to look for guys instead of girls, that way your doubt and guilt wont be there
Now, you'll still be a Christian if you date with people of the same gender as you...but you'd be sinning against God (I as a human being have no right to judge your relationship between God, because a sin is between God and you, us humans are only commanded to love each other no matter what, even if they're our enemies) There's plenty of laws of God people break...but if you wanna be a lukewarm Christian and ignore or see one of his commandments less, God will spit you out like soup...if you wanna be a hot Christian, then only look for guys.
I dont know how religious you are, but I'm very very very religious...and if I were attracted to both genders and God condemns being around with people of the same gender, then I'd ignore the same gendered people in my life lol
As for, "Can Christians be gay?"
Yes, Christians can be gay...Christians can be a rapist, murderer, someone who hates their enemies, homosexuals, someone who disobeys their parents, someone who lies or commits adultery...etc, but I'd consider them lukewarm Christians...This is something between you and God :)

ReplyAs a Christian I believe that everyone is created in God's image. Basically meaning that when he created you, he knew that was going to be a part of you. Knowing that, he still loves you and created you. He cares more about your faith in him, than your sexuality. Sure it makes up a part of you but it's not all that you are and he knows that. I think either way he just wants you to be close to him.
ReplyPersonally I am Christian and I am also bisexual. I also had been debating on that question for a while. I believe Christians can love who they want. Everyone sins in this world. God will love you either way. Be happy with who you are. You can't help who love. Probably a typical thing to say, but honestly though, He would want you to be happy.
ReplyThe Bible does speak against this but it was written by men who lived in The Middle East and they might have been against homosexuality and one wrote that. Who knows. These men marry children and the Virgin Mary was supposed to be twelve when she was pregnant with Jesus. This is their culture. But the natural order of all species on this planet is for males and females to be together to reproduce. Whatever is the point of any living thing at all to be together if both are males, and both are females?
