I know your name. I see the way your hair curves, the color of your eyes. I've picked apart every piece of you, and I've known you for a week. I haven't even talked to you. But I can't help but stare. You're not handsome or hot (maybe a little cute), but that's not why I'm staring.
I'm staring because you look like a book character I once kinda fell in love with. Worse than that, it was a character in a book I wrote. Someone I created.
Every detail of you matched up perfectly. It's like you walked out of my own story, and I was meant to meet you. I want to stare, and I want to look away. I want to talk to you. I want to know ... just everything. Everything about you! But you don't seem to even notice I'm there.
I try to tell myself it's the character I love, not you. Not you. The character. But when even your personality matched up perfectly, it's hard to distinguish who is who. Imagination, or real?
I just want to say hi. I want to talk to you. So, so badly.
How do I talk to him? I know only his first name, and I only see him after school during practice. He goes to another school. And he's a boy. I don't have any friend who are boys.
I need to talk to him!

Might as well go for it, or you're going to regret it the rest of your life. However, if you never talk to him, you could preserve the perfection of the book character because I'm sure he has some real life flaws that you won't love.
