Start
This is the start of something big..something new for me. I am a writer. I have always enjoyed writing. Writing is my outlet and my dumpster for my hurt and ang...
I’m so sorry you have to go through that. What helps me is making a list of the things I need to get through. One thing at a time until I’m done. Also it’s always better to do something poorly than to not do it at all.
Maybe find a clean, comfortable place and then set a timer for 5 minutes and try your best to study/read/other in those 5 minutes. Then take a 5 minute break to do anything you want. Then start the timer again for 5 minutes and study a little more. Then take a 5 minute break. If it feels like it’s working, slowly start increasing the timer during your study time.
I know you’re capable of more than you realize. Don’t limit yourself! I hope all goes well. Good luck :)
ReplyPlease seek help from a therapist, and try to cut down on the amount of time you study if that makes the problem worse. Just try taking a one day break and see how you feel.
ReplyFirst of all, give yourself a break. That happens to me too. I know I'm not that bright as a student but rather I'm on the average side. There are times when I feel like that too. No matter how many times I read my lesson, I just can't seem to comprehend it. Maybe you could take a walk, meet with your friend, exercise. Just do anything to change your routine. Maybe you're already drained plus maybe you have depression which could also be a result of your stress. So take a break and if you deem that you need one, go and meet with a therapist. :)
ReplySometimes being bright student is hard because sometimes have to stand alone. A guy in my batch once said, one problem he feel by being good at study is we felt more competitive than other students, we felt we don't want to fail because it'll lower reputation and so on. I feel too and i thought after doing great in high school i can do good too in college but reality is truly different than i thought. I failed a lot. I used to always stay in top 10 now I'm last 10. But then slowly, i realized I'm not alone. Failing is fate. But effort can change. You can do it. You can get what you want if you know what you want. Take a deep breath and look up your ceiling again with a question.
Why I'm studying, is it worth it? And how to make it worth
