As kids, we have so many dreams and ambitions of changing the ways of the world, being different than everyone else, helping those who are in need of help and so many more things which we think are moral. We think like this because we see people who are in pain, who are sad and we see our elders (including parents, politicians, youth in their 20s - 30s, businessmen and others) not doing anything, when they are capable of bringing change. We think, "How can they be so selfish, how can they keep all the money to themselves - if they have so much, they can share it to those who need it". My teacher once said, "Take only what you require, not what you want." Makes good sense. But when we start growing up, things change. When we start growing up, and see people who are in need of help, thoughts which never came up, upsurge, "What if that person is being unfair?", "If that person is capable of earning a living, why is he/she begging?", "Everyone has strived and worked hard to achieve their position, why can't they too?", "Karma strikes to everyone, what if they deserve it?". On comparing both point of views, neither of them are wrong. Many upper segments of the society donate huge amounts of money to charity, which is good. But most rich households spend money on lavish parties.
Is this wrong?
(I) Yes.
Why?
Because there are so many who can't even afford a single time's meal; you can't waste it all on yourself. You are selfish.
(II)No.
Why?
Come on, we have worked so hard all our lives to earn what we have achieved, why are you denying us some fun?
And both the view points are equally correct.
We thought we were right, they thought they were right. But relatively, both of them were absolutely correct. At this point of time, how do we know what is moral and what is immoral?

What's wrong with me
What's wrong with me? I feel sad, hopeless, and sometimes lost. Sometimes I feel super sad and other times I feel super hyped up, when I get super sad I do thi...
between both
see it's not wrong having fun and stuff
and it's way better to care about anyone else
so you're going to have fun with whatever you have
but let's say we're talking about money
if you have some extra
you can give it to people in need and care about them and make your friends feel loved
make your family feel loved
see it's not wrong having fun with the money you've worked so hard for
but let's say you have a salary of 10$
you but an ice cream for 9$ you can give that 1$ away
and feel proud and happy for helping others
this is my mindset tbh
but you can go after what you feel is right
search deep within you
you will see it
have a great day
ReplyThanks :)
