I know not really I have my parents and my best friend, that should be enough right? But I'm at an age now where I should be leaving my shell and be out there in the world maybe find a girlfriend or something and believe me it's not like I don't want too, it's this pandemic... I'm just lonely and I don't talk to girls that much, again not my choice and the only ones I seem to meet are insane, one tried taking my eye out with an ice scraper! Really she was a nice gal though but she has issues we both do, we met in a homeless shelter and we brought out the worst in eachother which sucked because we had chemistry, she thought I was funny I thought she was cute, but I was going through a complete mental breakdown at the time and she was in and out of the hospital (and not the medical kind). I just wanted to find someone (And just in case this sounds like I'm trying to find a girlfriend here, I am not I'm just venting) I just miss talking to humans, once upon a time I was charismatic and cool and people liked me but that was a long time ago. I don't know it's just I feel like I'm stuck in my cacoon, like I'm mentally 14 and I don't have a chance to grow, fine I'll say it... I just wanted to hold someone, oh boy I'm really spilling my guts aren't I. God I hope I don't sound like some thirsty teen living in his mother's basement (Which I don't btw) I hope I get my chance to shine, I really do. I just want to share my life with another person.

ReplyI love your hope for the future.. for when the pandemic is over.
As for meeting people - I always found that joining volunteer activities provides a great opportunity to meet people, usually people with kind hearts.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
