My college classes start in three days and I don't want to start off anxious, feeling like I can't do them, or feeling too tired to do them well. Last semester I got through with all A's because of lots of positive thinking, hard work, and prayer. Even though I was really sick and feeling bad 80% of the time. This semester I am picking up a job to work on top of six classes and my health is still bad, so I must keep being strong. This semester I will:
Be mindful to not put things off to the last minute because I don't have time to do that
Study hard with things that need to be memorized or understood better
Not feel too down if I fail, but do the next best thing to succeed
Try to do everything the best possible so there's less chance of failure
Realize that I was designed with a brain that has the tools for me to learn what I need in these classes. So, if something seems hard, I know I can actually do it if I want
Take care of myself instead of just working for hours straight so I can do work properly.
Have a good attitude about what I am learning. I like what I am learning in most classes, but sometimes when assignments feel forced, they can seem less enjoyable, unless I think about them as if I really wanted to do them and they weren't forced. Really, no one is making me do the classes, so the truth is I'm not forced no matter what it may feel like at times.
So yeah, gonna start out on a positive note for school. I might cry some days, be in pain somedays, or want to quit, but these positive things help me to keep going.
