Peace and connection

You hear the notion that you must love yourself first, before someone else can love you. That's supposed to be the healthy way of loving anyway.

But there is a lot of truth to it. If you look at it from a perspective of worlds (as in "your own little world"). If you're not a peace within your slice of existence, anyone who tries to enter it probably won't be at peace either.

Or you could look at it in a very literal way. You wouldn't move from say, Ontario, Canada to Sydney, Australia and expect Sydney to be the exact same in every way. The two are quite literally polar opposites. They wouldn't be compatible.

But if you take somewhere like Alaska, it has far more in common with Ontario and would offer a hospitable experience.

I don't know, does that make any sense?
