So I blocked his mom's number yesterday because everyday she wants/magically needs something. My bf and I share a vehicle (it was mine first) but he drives all the time for work and so do I. So we only have one vehicle now because his sisters car got totaled for the second third time! Ugh.. and his mom lost her car to unpaid car payments.
So yeah you see whose quite responsible here. We share a house with 8 other ppl. So the pressure is on daily!! If it’s not her being needy, then it’s everyone else. I’m at my wits end! Everything is getting annoying! No one offers gas they just ride for free, Especially his mom. When we put our foot down we seem like the monsters! I think it’s time to relocate I hate to leave on such an inconvenience but it an draining having to take care a house full of adults and no one ever offers to help! What would you do?!! I need help! My bf is a sucker for always saying yes but I’m trying to teach him that we’re only crippling everyone and making them depend on us and that’s not fair for me or him!! The sucky part is that this is his family so I get it.. but we live half a mile from stores and the city which are all walking distance!

that feeling when you dont want to stay, but you're too sacred to let go. interpret this how you want....
You have to talk to your bf, you have to let him know your side, Especially that all the responsibility in that house falls to you and your bf. Communication and a little bit of push is the key. xoxo
ReplyI’ve talk to him on countless occasions and he sides with me but he will still go behind my back and constantly do things for them. I sound so selfish but you don’t know the half honestly. Like it’s literally every day we don’t get a break after we come home from work
ReplyThat many able bodied people? Hell no. You're right. I would move out asap, and let the grown folks be grown.
ReplyMy pint exactly! I wish he saw things the same way
ReplyDon't take that shit. I finally started sticking up to my parents at 32 for always putting me down. And now I'm "cold" no i am demanding respect and happiness. So good for you being strong and saying no.
ReplyThanks!!
