I read once that the yin and yang represented the good in the bad and the bad in the good and that both together represent truth and life. Well, I broke the last chain holding me down a few days ago and I certainly started to feel good again. The weird thing is that I feel like something is wrong because nothing is going wrong in my life (aside from usual quarantine blues). I’ve got some things that I’d like to get done but I feel a little bored without the anxiety that I’ve had recently. I guess I should probably enjoy the momentary peace that I’ve made for myself anyways, since these times won’t last forever after all is said and done. And to you, dear reader, keep on keepin’ on! There is a bright tomorrow waiting for you, but you gotta get there to see it.

ReplyShould you experience darker moments or even days ahead, realize that 'it too shall pass'. Thoughts come and go and most just show up uninvited. Sooner or later, one shows up that isn't pleasant. Expect that this will happen and allow the thought to be with you without judging it or creating a story around. All thoughts need energy to persist so be certain to avoid adding an emotional interpretation. Eventually, a new uninvited thought will get your attention. Only helpful and interesting thoughts deserve further considerations. The others should be allowed to dissolve back into the void. I'm glad you are feeling better.
