Has anybody relized that in the end were all just one blip in the univers?. Just a little dot. Floating through space. Just a fragment. Were all just passengers of this earth. Just visitors.
If you look up at the stars, there is an entire world out there. So we all just seem like an little ants wandering this earth waiting for some inspiration to hit us.
When I look around at the people on this earth, all I see is empty, broken people. This is a sad world. There's no getting around that. People act happy all the time, even though behind the scenes there dyeing, and falling apart. Just slowly crumbling to pieces, and that's okay, until there heart breaks.
Everything is okay until somebody falls in love.

Love (Poem)

I very much agree
ReplyThis has a lot to do with perspective. You can absolutely look at the outside world and draw the conclusion that everyone is just an empty mess.
Though you're doing a disservice to yourself and others by holding onto that conclusion. Because it draws on the assumption that it's all there ever is, which is false.
There are reasons as to why the world may feel this way. So let's not discount that. There are absolutely people who are utterly broken inside, I'm one of them.
But that's not the entire truth.
Human beings are amazing, it's still fairly common to find someone who is willing to offer sympathy, empathy and compassion to someone in a bad situation.
However, those people get glossed over all the time with social media and news agencies and the like. Even from a personal perspective, it might be easier to just simply say this is all there is.
Paying attention to the times when it's not like this can be difficult. You get so accustomed to this, that it becomes reality to you.
This is especially true for millennials. Who seem to think that depression is just a part of growing up. Which isn't true. But for them, that's reality.
So I'd highly recommend talking with a therapist, try to get outside, find a hobby you can be proud of, try to connect with others in a meaningful way, fix your diet, don't just binge on sugary drinks, sweets and breads (cakes, cookies, twinkies etc), try to get some vitamins into your system, wake up at a set time, try to go to sleep at a set time, meditate, be kind to yourself and to others, try to find positive conclusions instead of negative ones, find things to be grateful for every day.
Theres a lot you can do to stop feeling the way you do. I know it hurts, I'm well aware of exactly how bad it feels but I can promise you there is more than just this. This melancholy notion that nothing matters.
