I've been jobless since graduated on 2nd of July 2020. And so does my brother.
My brother graduated late on august 2018 (admitted on 2011) and worked for a few months as food and beverage sales on 2019. The pay was low but the labour time was high, i remember he always working for almost 12-14 hours everyday save monday for 3 whole months.
While his superior wish to use lengthening the work period from contract he refused and seeking another job.
But he cant get any.
And on 2020 he took care of our grandma while applying on many company. But he still have no luck.
This year he turned 28 and he still jobless, i noticed he lose all hope to get any job and our Neighborhood start making fun and gossiping about him. Now he refused to go out of house, and choose to apply for civil servant test (which he failed for 3 years straight) but he himself didnt put any effort for it.
He always told me that I wasted my chance when I was working as student intern atau municipal office. He told me I should have tried to "suck up" For them. I tried it actually, but I failed.
I am stressed. Mu health is declining (i had breast cancer surgery on August last year) and I don't know what to do. Our father always scold us for being useless garbage in society and further breaking our spirit.
I don't know what to do. I want to help me and my brother to get a job. We lack money to start entrepreneurship. What should i do

I know exactly what you're going through when I was in high-school my father got Parkinson disease and couldn't work as usual and my brother remained jobeless for nearly 7 years we struggled with money and people made fun of my brother even our family....these hard times are a great lesson in life I know it's exhausting but trust me it's not gonna last forever just stay positive but I suggest you start a small bussiness do your research and never give up you gotta adapt with situations and keep searching for a job NEVER lose hope you see all these billionaires were broke before and yet they accomplished succes so don't let anyone bring you down and have faith in yourself and your abilities I wish you all the best ❤
ReplyLook for an opportunity to volunteer doing something you like or are, at least, good at while you continue looking for a paying job. You have to get out of the house and interact with other people. You may meet someone that can give you a referral. Be your best self at all times and keep your eyes and ears open for options.
