I am 19 years old college student, who has an eating disorder, but nobody knows. My mum always tells me, how fat I got and how small my jackets are, compared to last year. But the thing is, they are not small, they fit perfectly. She always makes bad comments about my body, although she is the one who is insecure about her body and has gained a lot of weight through quarantine...She compares her body to mine, sadly she doesn't know, how much this hurts and triggers me...

Many parents are flawed humans. I'm sorry you got stuck with someone who didn't deal with her own issues before starting a family. Try not to let her pass her insecurities on to you (although I'm guessing it's a bit late for that, unfortunately). I also inherited an eating disorder and body issues from my mother. The further away from her I got, the more stable I felt, but it doesn't exactly go away does it :(
