What are your thoughts about revenge?
For me, revenge of any kind is foolish and unjustified. It's more or less about the actions, but more so about the resentment and grudges people hold within their hearts. Honestly, forgiveness is a truly beautiful thing. What are your thoughts upon the subject? Feel free to comment.

The desire for revenge is born of pain and suffering. These will also be the flowers of what grows from their seed.
ReplyRevenge honestly isn't always unjustified, anger is human nature, and once it gets hard to hold it in, actions are taken. Forgiveness is a beautiful thing, I agree but there are nasty people who don't have any remorse, think they deserve forgiveness? It takes heck lot of strength to forgive someone like that, not everyone has strength like that and they turn to giving back the pain, which is foolish, but when you are blinded by rage, the best satisfaction or relief is making them feel what they felt. I don't support revenge in most cases but there are some cases which just tick you. Hatred sometimes gets the worst out of you.
ReplyI understand where your coming from, anger is definitely human nature; there is no denying that. I often succumb to anger plenty of times, but for me, my anger or resentment does not make my actions right. I guess I just really agree with the saying, "Two wrongs never make a right." I also have to disagree with you when you said, "best satisfaction or relief is making them feel what they felt." It may have felt great or the best thing in the world, but is that truly relief or satisfaction. Like you mentioned, forgiveness takes a lot, so revenge doesn't just make the pent up aggression fade away so easily. Though we all have our own opinions, so I'm glad we can agree to disagree. I really appreciate how you respectfully stated your opinion.
