Hi, to start with good luck for your interview, trust you thats all you need. be confident, interviews are all about being confident.
you did not mention your gender so If you are a lady/girl - I think nice comfortable shirt with good fit trousers/skirt or a formal dress and of course dont over do the make up ( again i dont know what field it is, do it according to the work profile)
If you are a Man/Boy - Shirt tucked in with a trouser and also tie or Blazer depending on your Field of work , please keep your buttons closed till the second last one if you are not wearing a tie etc.
what you wear adds only to your confidence , so please dont be depended on the clothes , be confident internally and see the magic and also Thank god that you have the opportunity of giving an interview , at current circumstances people are struggling a lot.
and if you dont get this job , still thank god for the opportunity and be grateful for things and see how things fall in place for you.
ReplyThank you so much! And yes I am very sorry I should've said my gender but I am a lady. I will take your advice and I'll update you on what happens tomorrow. Thank you once again.
ReplyI'm sure you want to know more about this possible employer so prepare 5 questions to ask. Write them down and have them with you. Tell your interviewer that you have them and ask if it is OK ask them at some point. Your interviewer may be inexperienced and uncomfortable interviewing or not and may say 'why don't we start with your questions'. If this sounds like something you want to do, write them down and share them with me today. I'll check in later and will offer editing suggestions if any are needed. This will set you apart from your competition. The bottom line - they will be impressed with your initiative and your forward but polite nature.
ReplyWill do, thank you! :)
ReplyIf its for business or an office type job, wear neutral colors. You can add a splash of color with a cute accessory, but keep it elegant and understated. Don't wear too much jewelry or perfume. Make sure your nails are clean and groomed. *Fun fact* Wearing your hair up makes people think you're confident. :)
Keep the makeup natural. Don't fidget.
Prepare answers for questions like:
Why do you want to work here?
Tell me about your experience?
What can you bring to this company?
Speak clearly and confidently. For the love of all that is holy, please do not pepper your speech with "um" and "like." Craft your own questions for the interviewer as well. He or she will ask if you have any.
Post interview: The next day, write a thank you card to the interviewer thanking them for their time. Maybe throw a little coffee gift card in there or something. It's not bribery, but it will make you stick out in the interviewer's mind. Which can't hurt if there's a lot of competition for the position.
BEST OF LUCK!!!🥰❤

ReplyThank you for your wonderful advice! I will surely do that :)
ReplyClothing wise wear something green. Red is an aggressive color said not to be good at interviews. Just try to be calm be yourself.
ReplyThank you! :)
ReplyIf they say what's your greatest weakness, say you like to ask a lot of questions. Because you want to have all the necessary or correct information when performing a task. Some people may find that annoying but i like to understand the details.
Its a good way to show a weakness that's kind of not one and also let them know your not afraid to ask questions if it means doing something right :)
ReplyThank you! :)
