AAAH OK I LITERALLY HATE THIS SM
yesterday my parents and sisters went to get vaccinated so i went to my cousins house while they were gone. i was trying to get schoolwork done, but i cant split my attention between a 4 yr old child and my social studies, so i put down my homework and told myself i'd finish it later.
fast forward, im home and have just had a panic attack beacause i was feeling a lot of pressure and stress, etc. i go look at my ss homework, and there r like 10 videos. so, being efficient, i take the notes using google, and not the videos and tell my parents that im done with my homework.
yeah well today my teacher went through to check who watched the videos and i didnt watch them at all so she called me out in front of the entire class (super not fun for a person with social anxiety, even if she didnt mean to make it embarrassing), made me email my parents (which i hate because i literally told them i finished the hw and now theyre going to get mad at me bc they think im lying), she also emailed my parents (keep in mind my parents love this teacher for some reason and they'll beleive her over me any day- they wont even listen to what i have to say) and i have to meet with her in supervised study to have a convo
im sorry that i value my mental health over taking notes about definitions
and im too scared to tell anyone that i struggle with mental health because i hate attention but thats my actual real excuse, so now i just sound lazy and i hate it and aghhhh whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Don't forget, school years don't last forever. One day in the near future, you'll look back and wonder why you were even stressed out today. School is a very short percentage of your life, but please continue to put your mental health first.
Replyit's good to value your mental health. it should always come first, because if your mental health isn't in the right place you will never be able to do your homework. you should sit down with your parents and tell them how you're struggling. i think they'll understand. good luck
