i am a masc lesbian ( as masculine presenting as one can be in a very restrictive household so not much )
I have always hated my body with a passion. I don't like my chest, or my hips, or my long hair or my lack of muscle overall. i wish I had the body of a man. but it confuses e because wouldn't that mean I was a woman in a mans body but I don't see myself as a woman but I would like to be perceived as a man. i keep these feelings very repressed due to a lot of internalized transphobia but everytime these feelings come up it hurts my head to think about and its very confusing. i already use a binder when I can (I train 5 days a week for school sport so hard to often) and cant really cut my hair because parents but I have no idea. am I trans? or non binary? or confused? huh?
I'm assuming wanting the body of a man and wanting to be perceived as a man would mean technically trans but definitions are not clear on google and i just don't know. i really don't know

ReplyGender is no one answer or another I'm she/they nonbinary you can look at a million websites but only you can decide which you wished to be. For me my sex preferences were clear but my gender was a lot more difficult. Nothing felt right I only choose nonbinary because it's an umbrella term. I recommend for you to try out the different terms on yourself in your head and if you are alone say them in a mirror. Also, ask yourself what neo/ pronouns you prefer that are also a step closer to figuring out everything. For transphobia, if possible surround yourself with trans supporting people and trans people what this does is you surround yourself with people who will love you, and hopefully you will love yourself. Plus if you befriend trans people they will teach you it's ok and tell you advice from what they go through. I don't how masculine you dress but if you want slowly do more and more things masc. Whatever or however much you feel comfortable doing. Some people like jumping into the deep pool while others start off by dipping their toes. Pace yourself and self-reflect ask yourself questions. You can always change your mind about anything so don't worry about things being permanent. Just know if you feel male you do not have to dress masc if you feel nonbinary you don't have to look gender-neutral. Whatever gender you decide for yourself you can dress however you want.
