I started cutting again... I genuinely have no idea how to stop

So this guy tells me that he really likes me and cares about me but its like my brain just keeps saying he doesn't so it makes me think that he doesn't care and...
cutting may give u momentary release but it also give u a lot of guilt ....u can distract yourself like watching a stand up or listen your favorite song when u feel like cutting . the urge will pass with time
Replyi get that, it can be really hard to stop, you should try the butterfly project, you draw a butterfly where you cut the most, and name it after someone you love, so whenever u think about doing it remember that if u hurt the butterfly you hurt the person or people u care about, ofc it may not always work, so you can also distract yourself by drawing, or watching Netflix or youtube, watching things personally helps me distract myself long enough for the urge to pass, but everyone is different, but i definitely recommend trying it, you can also do things like playing with a pet, reading, sleeping, things like that, I believe you'll find a way to surpass the urges, and if it doesn't work the first time then don't worry about it, we all struggle with stopping, just keep trying, you'll find something to pass the urges, I believe in you, best of wishes to your self-harm recovery journey (:
