Pray for me
Tonight I realize after talking with a friend and upsetting him that I want someone out there in the world to pray for me. I apologized to him and he forgav...
We'll see if it works. He won't give you things specifically. He's the creator, asking him for something may be wrong. But everyone wants something desperately, so it's understandable. God is here to give you a special blessing. I hope you get what you want.
ReplyI mean im doubting too, like is he even there. When i have problems its not like he helps, there was a time i was having a stress breakdown im praying and asking for help but nothing arrived, then i realized why does he want us to believe him, to worship him, because he wants some followers?, did he just make us to fullfill what he wants. You might not understand what i am explaining but why does he want us to trust him, he shouldnt have made us in the first place if were just gonna suffer. I mean all they say is that without suffering and just enjoyment we would forget about him, but wouldnt it be better for him to be remembered because hes giving us relief rather than problems. You all will disagree with what im saying but yeah thats how it is to me. Anyways, in the end we will all come crawling and begging him for something, not because we trust him, but because were desperate.
ReplyThere is a life without suffering, but it's not here or now. That's in heaven. And that's eternal. Compared to the limited amount of year you spend in this life. Not everyone deserves Heaven. And the way to know who does is by the tests that we endure during this life. Being born poor isn't a choice, that's a test. But robbing, scamming, maybe to the extent if killing someone, that's a choice. And your choices define who you are. Hardships either bring out the worst or the best in us. None us really want to go through them or have to endure them. We want to live a life identical to that in heaven. And if you stay strong and keep to your faith, you'll be peaceful here and live that life for eternity in Heaven.
Reply(( Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near ))
ReplyIt's not stupid to believe in God, it's just stupid to believe that god is your own cosmic vending machine. Prayer is a chance to talk to your creator, not the cheat code menu in the game of life.
ReplyOf course there is a god and you only have to ask once. He isn't deaf or forgetful. The best way to have Him answer your prayers is to actually believe in Him and welcome Him into your life. Then get to know Him by reading the Bible or doing a Bible study with someone from a church who knows the Bible. Contact your local churches to find a person for this. Then build a relationship with God. But He knows what you are thinking so if you only do all of this to use Him to get what you want He will know. You must be sincere in having Him always in your life.
ReplyThere's a verse that says, (The prayer that man should make for good, he maketh for evil; for man is given to hasty (deeds). Which basically means more than often we ask for things, that if they were to happen, would cause us a lot of pain and do us more harm than good. So here's a prayer my mother taught me to say at the end, (But Lord if in Your Knowledge, this matter be bad for my faith, for my livelihood, and for the consequences of my affairs, then turn it away from me, and turn me away therefrom, and ordain for me the good wherever it be, and cause me to be pleased therewith). Simply asking God to take from your heart the desire for this thing you desperately want to happen if it will cause you harm and to be pleased and satisfied with what God has in store for you even if it's not what you originally wanted.
