Stuff I wanted to do as a kid

Back then, I used to want to be a storm chaser. The movie Twister was largely responsible for that. Back then I was just a pubescent boy and Helen Hunt was very attractive to my young mind.

I've maintained some love of severe weather throughout the years. But I've never seen a tornado with my own eyes.

Though I never wanted to be stupid about it, I read books and magazines and I would watch storm specials on like Discovery and what not. Then sometime later I started finding storm chasing related stuff on YouTube and while I could recite to you all the information, it is still in my head because my brain holds onto information and just doesn't seem to let go.

I still think about the possibility of being a storm chaser, not some extremely hyped guy behind a camera but just being able to see and documenting nature's wrath for myself.

One thing I know for a fact is that if I were actually doing that and one of the tornadoes I was chasing went through a populated area, that's where the chase ends and becomes search and rescue. I couldn't drive away from something like that, knowing how many lives are uprooted by severe weather.

That's just me though, because I'd never be in it for money. If I really wanted to worry about money I could just as easily make a YouTube channel and livestream everything. So when disaster does strike, I could use super chats for relief funds and charity related to each storm.

That way my viewers get to have that sense of real connection and that they matter, that they can make a difference in this world. Even if it's just one life.

And you know, I'd want some wholesome stuff to fill the time between storms. Like maybe a live chicken pen or something that people can watch whenever 24/7 and get some wholesome entertainment.

Plus I really like a Youtuber by the name of Pecos Hank, seems like a really good guy and he gives you a glimpse in the life of being a storm chaser and also being a friend to nature. Helping animals off the road and what have you.

I guess you could say I'm somewhat passionate about weather.
