If I said forever, would you believe me? Would you stay for that long?

If I said always, would you know it in your heart? Would it fuel your will to enjoy this existence?

If I said never, would you trust me? Would you know deep in your soul that it's the truth?

If I said some day, would you find me? Would it be enough to make you search near and far for me?

And I said to be honest, would you blame me for my disbelief? Would you hold it against me that in my heart, I don't think you even exist.

If I said it was just my imagination, would you laugh at me? Would you see the soul within it's tattered shell and mock it for daring to dream without the intent of hope?
