WHEN WILL IT BE ALRIGHT
My father hates my maternal uncle and whatever chaos is at my house on a regular basis is bcoz of him, whenever he is brought up in a conversation and that too...
I applaud the fact that you are taking your fate into your own hands. Allow me to help.
First of all, I don’t think that a bus is an option because, although 13yo can travel alone in Virginia, they must have a parent sign a consent form first. Sadly, that won’t work. I can’t seem to find any transport option that doesn’t require a parent to sign off. Perhaps you have some kind of bicycle or scooter you can use. It’s quick and free.
Not sure if renting a hotel is an option, either. They’d be very suspicious that a minor is trying to rent a hotel. You might have to find a homeless shelter. Try to look as decrepit as possible when going there, so that they don’t suspect you have parents. Of course, they might recognise you if you get put on missing persons, you may may also need to consider the streets. But the streets come with their own risks. You’d have to keep to yourself the whole time, and never trust anybody on the streets. They take advantage of young people like you, so be very careful if you pick that option.
I think that buying from the dollar store is a great idea. It will save you a lot. Then, if you need extra money, you can also sell things you find on the streets. Be sure to buy well-rounded meals as best you can for maximum nutrition. You want to be able to last.
Oh, right. Do not take a cell phone with you if you have it. It can easily be traced if you try making any calls or even using it al all, then it will all be over.
I hope this is of some help to you. I wish you the best of luck. Rooting for you, kid. 🍀
ReplyThank you!

ReplyGet as as many trustable friends to help you, at least one. Is the friend running away as well or just helping you?
You should look into hotel infos through internet first, there are places (at least in my country; sorry I'm not from usa) who do accept minors, but definitely not all, or even most. And if you're running away , your family probably will call the cops sooner or later, so hotels won't do for long. Maybe you can stay at friend's? Or call cps?
Reply^_^ Thx
ReplyYou need to think it though. What when the 130 runs out? It's hard to trust strangers anymore they can abduct you and do bad things like the attempt on a girl on video in Florida in the news. They are creeps out there. It's never ok to run away at such a young age. I understand your desire to get away from the abuse. If that's the case try calling child protective services. Motels are expensive. In my area they are over 80 per night for 1 person 1 bed. Plus I doubt they'll rent to a minor.
Try talking to all the relatives and friends you may have before you do anything like that. You need to consider your safety first. Look for other options than running away.
ReplyThanks so much!!!
ReplyI feel like running away with a friend kind of holds you down and then sometimes the friends family worries and your friend tells their family that ya'll are running away and then they may contact your parents. But thats just my opinion.
