“At the age of 20, you should already be something”. A notion that was instilled to everyone that pressures our mind into achieving more, for what and for whom?
A notion, that leads to the weariness of thy heart and questions thy worth.
The privileges of others, achieving far way greater things than you, are the start of thy resentment towards thyself competence, harboring abhorrence unto the reflection before you, and that is yourself.
You quantify thy achievement with thy age, “I’m 20, I must have 20 pebbles of gold beneath the grasp of my palm” and thee forgets to breath and live the life of serenity and truth.
Indeed, individually has its own realms of battle that must be conquered whilst young because of the things one went through, nonetheless thou shall not once query his value with the number of golds he acquired, for a pile of gold at the age of 20 shall never offer the true meaning of triumph and joy, if his heart does not love himself otherwise know how to offer love.
And if one let a pile of gold be his definition of victory, then one is living in a frivolous existence that can vanish into oblivion like a dust of gold.
And "20" is not just the number of age, one shall live through.
