When I was 13 or 14 I came out as bisexual to myself and close friend and my family eventually. (I am female)
I’m just not sure if I’m bisexual or pansexual. I’ll explain.
Since I was a child I knew I liked boys and girls. I used to get butterflies around both genders. I never accepted liking girls like boys until at least 2nd grade (7 or 8years old) I also think a female family member doing things to me made me like girls as well I’m not sure. Because people say you’re both this way but I can’t remember anything below 4 and the abuse started at that age.
When I came out to my best friend she told me she was pansexual and asked me if I was as well. I said I didn’t know then she explained it and I told her I guess.
If I’m asked what my sexuality is I say bisexual to keep it simple but I would date anyone it depends on their personality. I also know that I can’t have sexual relations unless there are feelings there (Demi sexual).
All these labels confuse me which is why I say I’m bisexual.
Thank you for any advice

Label aren't there to confuse you, they're their so that everyone has something they're comfortable with. Don't worry if you don't feel like you fit perfectly into one word. If that's the word that you're comfortable with then use it. So many choices can be confusing but it sounds to me like bisexual is the word that you'd rather use. Don't worry about what other people say just do what makes you happy. I'm much the same as you and usually just refer to myself as queer. If people ask for more I say I'm demi-sexual and usually have to explain what that is because not a lot of people know. Sometimes I also just say I'm just me, what does it matter what I am, I like who I like.
