Ramblings of a person on the outside

What are we doing here? what are we fighting for? Don’t we all realize that this will amount to nothing at all? We are not the white race, the black race, the Asian race, we are the human race. So again I ask what are we doing?

What are we trying to stop? Are we trying to help others, or are we helping ourselves? The earth is dying and we’re doing nothing. We’re just going about our lives as if our lives aren’t coming to an end. So again I ask what is it we’re fighting for?

What is the point of fighting when in the end we all lose? Don’t you see, you and I are both human beings? We share the earth and all its resources. We live and breathe the same air. We have the same genetic sequencing.

So why are we so hell-bent on trying to be better than the other? Why are we trying to put down others? Is it to make ourselves feel better?

I’m not gonna say I’m perfect. But I am going to say that we all need a change. We all need to be more humane. We all need to be more observant. We all need to be better human beings. Because in the end what else is there to life. What else is there to feel satisfaction that you help someone else that you were a better person. Do you get more joy out of hurting others? Or do you get more joy out of helping others? So again I ask what are we doing?
