need someone to talk your way to sleep?
ReplyThat could help
ReplyOkay talking is not my specialty... but I will try my best soooo how was your day?
ReplyStressful lol
ReplyI jump on that boat too lol I work as an illustrator and animating is not my strong trait... so I suffer and cry while drawing
ReplyCool I love art, mostly black and white and also watercolor
ReplyI used watercolors a few times, I love how they turn out when everything dries... when you say black and white is more like pencil or charcoal?
ReplyBoth, mainly charcoal. What do u like to use?
ReplyI use pencil the most but just for sketching (I love sketching things) and markers (sharpies, black and blue) my main set is now on digital 'cause work requires it; I've used colored pencils but my drawings always turn out like a children coloring book (messy and ugly)
ReplyI can't stand using colored pencils, they always end up a light shade of what I'd wanted. Sketching is fun, what do u like 2 sketch the most?
ReplyAt last, someone that understand the struggle! I had a friend that told me I just don't know how to color properly... and characters. I love creating characters and stuffs around them, more in a toony way and I'm always trying to build a base of weird characters done by me... and you? I consider black and white a hard technique but a really mesmerizing one
ReplyI'd have to stick with my regular pencils for black and white, they blend so well and I don't have to worry about color. If Im in the mood for cartoons or doodles, I'll use my supertip markers. Yeah, I know I'm in the same boat, I don't know how to color something unless it's with watercolor and impressionist. Oh and pens are fun to draw with. Like, try drawing a person only using dots with a pen, it's so interesting!
ReplyOh yeah my college notebooks are full of pen drawings instead of real class notes... I have a red pen I tend to use for smal details (clothing, something in the hair, eyes, blush and stuff) I love watching the process of those kind of drawings (portraits, landscapes, animals or whatever thing on pen) The vibrant shades and tones are soooo smoth
ReplyYesss I doodle all the time when I'm supposed to be paying attention (key word being 'supposed') lol. If I'm going to do anything in color, I always try to make it super vibrant. Well, we've been chatting for forty minutes!! I should really put my phone down and go to sleep.
ReplyNp ! hope to text (?) you again some time, hope I had helped you good night there
ReplyYeah, it's been great! It definitely helped. Maybe tomorrow we could talk again. :D Good night!!
ReplyI hope I will get to experience that too one day. I'm interested in animation like you.
ReplyI do traditional animation (frame by frame, 2D) I'm currently working on a animated comercial, it's a nice and a beautiful branch to work on but man so many little details and it can get exhausting!! but it pays off when you see your own piece complete and fills you with determination
ReplyOkay the conversation that happened in the comments was just wholesome
