My dad passed away this January 2016 due to lung cancer and now the house is feeling quieter than ever. Obviously, there are some lessons in life that can't be taught ahead of time, but right then and there at the moment. Father to four amazing kids and husband to an impeccable woman for over 35 years.
Since this all happened, my brother and I (that live at home) decided to split some other chores that my father would do around the household. My older brother who is in charge of making sure the bills have been paid hasn't opened any of the mail that was sent in my fathers name. with that being said, The hospital bills haven't been paid for the last 5 months and I'm in more stress now than ever before. The last letter from the hospital stated the lack of payment and legal prosecution to be pending soon. My brother and I support my mom who doesn't have a job but she's out of the country to take care of her dad who just had a stroke. So there's so much building up that it's hard to destress and really try to think positively.
