It was a cold night and the cold breeze was enough to make Nat wake up, though she had never really slept. How could she, when tomorrow wasn't granted as it was for everyone.
She got up from her cot and walked towards the only window in the room, hands wrapped around herself.
She shivered as she stood in front of the window. Outside snow covered everything that was ever visible to naked eye. Owls hooted and far way some wolf howled.
"Great", she thought to herself. "As if I wasn't dreading tomorrow enough, you had to bring in wolves and owls". She said out loud even though she was the only person in that room.
The moon's light showed its way into the room through the window, lighting up the cramped room. The shadow of the cupboard placed against wall fell on to the floor, making it look like someone was standing behind her with a knife raised high. Light do like to play jokes isn't?
Nat closed the window and walked back to her cot. She lay down pulling the small blanket to her neck, her hands still wrapped around herself and her legs showed outside uncovered. She shut her eyes and tried to fall asleep, praying not to make it tomorrow.

Freaky Bed

The fifth paragraph would be better saying: The moon's light showed its way in through the window lighting up the cramped room. This way the word 'room' isn't used twice in the same sentence.
also the sentence: 'Light do like to play jokes isn't?' doesn't make sense. It should say 'Light likes to play jokes doesn't it?'
ReplyWow thanks I will make the changes... Thanks for pointing it 😍
