Hi. I'm a teenager and, well, you can probably tell what this is about from the title. I've been feeling some serious lust lately, kind of over this specific guy at school and just in general. The thing is, I'm a Christian and my religious values keep me from doing anything about it. No masturbation, sex, being provocative, you know. Can someone give me some advice? Thanks.

My dearest Chloe...
Where do I begin... I really don't know. You're a gorgeous 20 year old Japanese-American girl in nursing school... You're one of the sweetest girls I've ever...

I love you
My sweet angel. I'm so glad to know you. I love to wake up with you. I love to be with someone so fresh, and honest. I know you are no innocent duckling, but th...
Maybe you can try some meditative techniques, don't know if they have some biblical loophole but if you do this to keep yourself from doing something you don't want (or similar variations on the theme) it's probably no problem to learn some ways to calm yourself.
ReplyI totally relate to this, Christian too. and my parents are quite religious so they raised us based on the standards of the church.
what helped me was to avoid things that would trigger those kind of thoughts. and I know how hard it can get. i physically ache when I'm feeling it but can't do anything about it.
so I avoid books or webtoons or anything that could trigger lustful thoughts. each time I feel it, I walk away from my phone or immediately watch something that would distract me from those thoughts, it took a long time for me, each time I thought I was good I'd prove myself wrong. but now it's been more than a year and it's easier for me to turn away from that feeling.
I hope this helps and that you get through it! ♡
ReplyAs a former teenager and Christian, reading books on different subjects. Labor work like construction, gardening, or D.I.Y. housework if your parents are okay with it. Find a hobby store to find hobby activities.
ReplyHello it’s the devil here. To hell with all that “ Christian stuff. Go masturbate that’ll take all the stress off your body. It’s such a big relief. Hell, even if you got the guts go ask the dude out. Have fun
ReplyI'm still not going to masturbate, but we are going to a dance at school together.
ReplySo...
By design your clitoris is within perfect reach of your hand/fingers. By design - the clitoris has an abundance of nerve endings, and is the human female's most sensitive erogenous zone and generally the primary anatomical source of human female sexual pleasure. By design, the clitoris has not function other than pleasure. By design - you can pleasure yourself without having an unplanned pregnancy, without feeing like a sl*t afterwards, and generally speaking without catching an STD if you wash your hands thoroughly or if you wash the object you use to rub your clitoris.
Incidentally - the clitoris has a foreskin, known as the clitoral hood. This foreskin is there by design, same as the foreskin of a guys peen. During the Puritan era in the U.S., the goal was to stop boys from masturbating by slicing off the foreskin at birth. Today there is a fake myth that it is cleaner to slice off the foreskin, yet we don't do this to girls. Also - the anus, nose, ears and mouth are sources of tons of bacteria yet we don't do anything to them at birth. Baby male circumcision, if not done for religious purposes as in Judaism or Islam, is a barbaric practice initially intended to stop boys from masturbating. And modern women who acquire "a taste" for sliced weenies make no sense whatsoever - an erect peen looks the same, sliced or intact. And I suspect they don't spend hours admiring a limp peen.. so they make no sense when they say they prefer a sliced weenie. Go Pro-Life and Pro-Choice - pro life for the foreskin and pro choice for the American/Korean baby male to decide on their own to slice their foreskin when they reach adult age.
In the meantime - be thankful as a girl born in a freedom loving country that no one is mutilating your genitals at birth and relieve some built on sexual tension by self pleasuring. It's there by design.
ReplyBut it's kind of against my religion....
ReplyReligion is a healthy framework/system/code... if not practiced fanatically. Keep in mind:
Religion is man-made, just like a Picasso or a Rembrandt. And just like a Picasso or Rembrandt - it is nothing more than a form of expression. Hence why there are 1000s of religions around the world. Specifically religion is used to express spirituality. Unfortunately, some adults brainwash their children. Sadly, nothing divides like religion. Tragically - for no other cause does man kill with such zeal than for that of religion. Realistically - someone can feign hard core religiousness on the outside and lack true faith on the inside. Ironically - you can have true faith and not practice religion a day of your life. Our creator knows our soul.
Do your research.. decide for yourself.
ReplyI think my entire point here was that I have decided, and I asked for some distractions. I made the choice myself.
ReplyYour post is entitled incorrectly. By design, an outlet truly does exist, so long as it is not abused, since for example by design men are stronger than women, but it is NOT to be abused. And we all see the results when it is abused.
However - some people clearly elect through God's gift of free will to deny themselves - very noble.
The reality is that what works for some, such as covering women up from head to toe so as to not see the temptation and trigger lust... OR such as looking away when the object of temptation struts directly in front of you.. OR occupying your mind with productive work every waking hour of your day... what works for some does not work for others. So, happy journey on your endeavor to find your distraction until the day you get married and are free to share intimacy with your spouse.
