My Parents think I'm Irresponsible

I have to say that I may be forgetful at times, but I'm definitely not a loose, laid back type of person who isn't serious about anything. I'm even an honor student and I've received a distinct leadership award that undergoes serious deliberation of the faculty among hundreds of student to pick that one, deserving character. I just don't feel okay with my father not allowing me to enjoy and take a breather once in a while with my friends. And his reason? He sees me irresponsible.
