If everyone gets the same amount no matter how hard they work, it takes away their desire to work hard. If people don’t work hard, the economy starts to fail. Food doesn’t grow itself, public transport doesn’t run itself, etc.
At that point, the government has to find a way to get people to work. And most likely, it will be through threat of pain.
Gotta have some balance. People deserve freedom, no government should ever be given that much power. People deserve independence. 100% relying on the government will get us nowhere.
ReplyCommunism isn’t as simple as that, there are varying degrees of it. In communism not everyone gets the same amount it’s more everyone starts with the same amount, the government isn’t authoritarian in the way you might think, there is essentially no state as people are the state. It is impossible to describe what communism really is in a comment you’ll have to look into some theory for that but it feels as if your perspective of communism is very westernised and American, I’m not American but I am from the west so I understand the warped perspective I was brought up with, try to really grasp what communism is because it genuinely surprised me.
