Happy Birthday.

I know I didn't hit you up to wish you a Happy Birthday. It was intentional. I really wanted to, but I have to practice distance. Last year I was so nervous to contact you because it had been a while since we spoke and I felt everything in me say "hit him up" and I did. This year, I felt the complete opposite. I felt it was important to give you space and respectfully move on. I hope you can understand if you even care.

I wish you nothing but all the joy this world has to offer you. I want your life to be filled with peace and happiness. I hope that this year you can continue to grow into the person you hope to become. I hope that the best of love finds its way to you and that you are encouraged to take a leap even if its scary. I can't wait to see all that you become and all that you imagine. I wish you all the best in this life.

If our paths ever cross again. If I ever get the chance to connect with you in a way that I haven't before, I want to thank you for how you've forced me to grow without knowing it. Thank you for teaching me more about what I actually want from this world and from others. Thank you for showing me that what I desire is possible and that I shouldn't settle. Thank you for letting me see a side of you that not too many get to see.
