I need advice. And fast. So, I was using my mom's phone as a flashlight because mine was charging, and I saw this text from this guy. I know I probably shouldn't have, but I signed in (I know her password for emergency situations), and I saw her text history with that guy. Turns out she's been cheating on my dad for months. What do I do? Do I tell my dad? Confront her? Wait until she tells him or he finds out? I need desperate help.

Stop and give her and yourself the space to breathe. And then consider if YOU think this situation could be ok and why. Not what someone else tells you. Because in the end you're going to just follow your heart anyway. So you might as well listen first and try to understand what it's telling your mind. This will give you perspective and make it easier to act.
ReplyYou should wait for the perfect moment to ask your mom things like this are usually very delicate and could have very strong repercussions. So what I suggest it wait she must have some reason and even she must be waiting the perfect time she won't purposely want to cheat and relax don't panic. Hope it helps π
ReplyI think the best you can do is to pretend you have not seen anything. If you would say to either side you would put fuel into the already burning thing.
Important questions to consider before you do anything:
1. Would it help anyone in any case that you would come out with the thing?
2. Would the pros take over the cons you would cause by saing so?
3. What consequence would it have if you would go forward with it?
