Sudden confession
I was doing my homework in the class after school hours. The conversation went like this: Teacher: you are looking hot today. Me: what? Sorry ... I... Teache...
I think this comes down to whether or not fighting her over this money is really worth your time. Are you in the right to not return the $150? Absolutely! Are you in the right to hold her accountable for damages? More than likely (little tricky without a contract). But is this worth the hassle of fighting her over? That's up to you. My advice (take it or leave it) is to give her $50 so that you have given her all her money back (you already gave her $100) and then just cut her out of your lives.
