Complaining

Is it just common for moms to complain all the time about whatever they're unsatisfied with? My mom complains more than any of my siblings. She complains about how the furniture isn't good enough, the house isn't clean enough, this isn't working, that looks bad, I don't own this, and on and on everyday. And look, I'm not about to judge her and say she is a horrible person for complaining or wanting things sometimes. I couldn't possibly understand how it makes her happy since I don't own much and don't care a lot about owning much. I just wish she'd find things to be happy about as well because it is sad that she is often unsatisfied and upset. I also see how it effects other family members. Because of the way she acts, she puts others on edge. We try to help her, but she finds something else to be upset about. I don't know. I just wish she'd complain a little less sometimes. It negatively effects her and those around her.
