It was midnight when I was laying all alone on my bed doing nothing, I wanted someone I could talk to and make me feel better. There was a lot I was going throughout at that point of time. I have always been that kind of friend, who’s always there for you to listen and give you a good advice for every situation. My friends always look out for my advice and opinions about issues they go through.
My heart was heavy and all I could do was think of someone who could listen to me and talk to me about things I wasn’t sure about. I didn’t notice at first but I had tears in my eyes and there was no one to console me or tell me that it’s okay, when I realized that sometimes you have to deal with your situations on your own.
All I was doing was looking out for someone who could console me, but I never realized that I had my own voice in my head that was crying out loud to me, “Everything’s gonna be alright!” The voices in my head were fighting with each other, some voices were saying that I cannot come out of this situation, some were saying that I was now getting into depression but there was one voice, which was telling me, “Don’t worry, everything passes by, this time, this moment will also one day become just a mere memory.”
At that moment I realized that, there will always be a lot of voices telling you, you cannot do it! But there always be one voice that will be confident enough to push away all the voices and make it sound numb, a voice that has faith in you, a voice that knows you well than anyone else.
I guess, listening to that voice is enough for you to console yourself and love yourself.

I am in pain too, my life is a mess. But I want to cheer you up that you're doing great and everything's gonna be okay. I want you to realize that I understand what you feel and what you're going through. I hope we heal together someday.
ReplyYes! We will….
ReplySometimes the situations where we have to stand alone are what make us the strongest. Something i've found helpful on days when I don't feel good is to practice gratitude, you can find one small thing everyday that your grateful to be alive to experience or have, and sometimes that little bit of positivity can make all the difference to how you feel your day is going.
