I'm an 18-year-old who's nervous about planning for college. I sometimes get so stressed out that it feels like someone is strangling me. Everyone around me thinks I'm a great student and that nothing is wrong, but my anxiety is really starting to affect me. Sometimes an attack will start out of nowhere. I don't feel I can talk to my parents or anyone else about this problem. What should I do? I'm scared of going to college. I'm scared to move out. I don't want to get a job yet. All my friends will be gone. I'm going to end up alone just because I'm too fucking slow at everything I fucking do. My anxiety is just over the roof right about now. Maybe my friend was right. I should have killed myself when I had the chance.

Good evening. It is normal to feel scared going to college and future. I was in the same position when I was 18 years old. However, don't think about it too much. Have backup plans or find a hobby, travel, or do something else. I failed and got kicked out of the first college. Then, dropout at the second college for personal and emergency reasons. When back for the third time and finshed. Friends come and go. Some started a family, other personal reasons. One lost friend, but a new one comes to take their place. Don't worry about moving out. Not a good time in this current situation. Anxiety is a silent killer of the mind. It took me years or ask for help to battle these emotions.
There are times I want to end it all. But, other people that help you in times of need or come to you or they need your help in the future. Once you reach maturity level or successful level. You look back and laugh about it think it about. All your friends or people who abandon you or betray or put you down. Will be at short end of the stick or try to be your friend again after they see you did well in life.
Replyhold up hunny im sorry you are feeling that way but its normal to feel the way you are your about to leave your family and people you love your comfort zone you know and no your friend is not your friend if there telling you that she/he is wrong i also have anxiety and panick attacks try to listen to music you like and sing to it focusing on your fear may be whats causing the attackstry to not make that your full focus are your parents hard to talk to can you be comfortable to let out the truth that your scared
