Why does my ENFP friend sound loud and expressive with others, but when shes with me shes quiet and just listens to what i say, she doesnt act exciting with me at all, and if so it only lasts a short time and then it fades away. And sometimes i cant even tell if shes ignoring me or not, its hard to tell the difference, to me its like shes uninterested in what i have to say, i just go to my other friends and talk to them, its as if she doesnt acknowledge my presence, she just nods to what i say, and she disappears, i dont understand why she acts like this, and we never speak again during the duration of class, but we always manage to, thanks to social media.
Shes very straightforward when it comes to her emotions and opinions, but whenever one of my friend comes she disappears, and acts like described on the top paragraph, i dont understand, ive seen her repeat this behavior before, only with me though, and its always a specific person, it is not envy, since my friend is female and my other is male, but i feel she doesnt know what to say, during that moment, and keeps quiet, since she doesnt and isnt freinds with the male like i am. Whenever he talks she is silent, and just does her work, i try to talk to her but she nods, and pushes me away, showing no interest, just a glance and she keeps doing her own thing. Shes fine with my other friends its only him, but i do remember their first meet, wasnt the best.. she does not hate the male, since she told me she never hated him, in fact it was long ago, i highly doubt she held onto this, she isnt the type to, so.
Can anybody explain why? is this common for female ENFPS.

A female ENFP -not sure about your friend in particular, but in general we need more quiet time than other Es, due to taking in a lot from our surroundings. I have a male ENFP friend who behaves similarly to your friend, he’s either totally engaged or off in his own world depending on energy and company.
Replyi think your right, this may be the issue she is having. She might just feel comfortable enough around me, that she doesnt try so hard?
ReplyThat was my first thought. I know I’m like that. The more comfortable I am the less I talk.
