There are billions of cases where helpless people are being threatened by their significant other. It could be a violent threat, revenge porn, and the list goes on in an absurd and hard-to-identified way. Now, what you can actually do? go settle a strong non-government organization to stand with the victims against the aggressors. Here's what is in my mind; 1, a digital membership for the victim that can be shown to the aggressor that says "IF the threat is executed, the victim will be supported by a massive government-supported system to attack them back", maybe by reporting the aggressor to the police. I'm thinking if this membership could be an anonymous-registered membership in the first phase (but still can be shown to the aggressor in a predetermined period of time) so the aggressor can have a second chance. I know this requires massive teamwork across many professions. The idea is, to stand on the victims' side so they can have more sophisticated power against the aggressor. What do you think? I'm sick of evil playing out well in this world.

I will try to create this myself if in few years there aren't things like this in spite of our technological advantage
Reply"evil playing out in this world" this sounds horrible. You are saying let's cause more abuse instead of help get to the root of the abuse, which would be the abuser. I've seen "evil" win over and over again, I fucking move on with my life. Anyway how would you even know if these so called abusers are actually just that. Anyone can call wolf.
ReplyNo, I'm saying let's make the victims suffer less by letting the aggressors know that they have a potential of absolute catastrophe if they do the thing they are threatening about. And to identify the abusers, that's really a topic beyond my comprehension right now; I mean look at it, it's just an idea in a depressing website. But it's not nothing (!?), it can be carried out carefully if every single variable within the execution is guided by the professionals.
And I don't think it's a new idea, I mean look at our current justice system; if this idea is realized, it would be like a casual system in a police department but with higher bandwidths. But overall I'm not sure, this idea was literally born 3 hours ago — but again, it's not nothing. Also, I am so sorry that you were falsely accused as you had written (if that was actually you)
Reply— Like, the classic sounds like this,
Aggressor: I will harm you
Victim: Please don't
My ideal is,
Aggressor: I will harm you
Victim: No, you will ruin yourself out of that. Here's why. Look at this.
I understand that this might sound too idealistic, if not stupid. But if you can prevent an extreme inhumane manipulation to emerge in a relationship, that would be something really extraordinary. I've seen people being manipulated into thinking to end their own lives and trust me, the first thing they want to have is the power to escape from such situations with dignity. To be on their bed at night to sleep like a decent modern human being and not think "what if my life is ruined the next morning"
Replyyou are riding a slippery slope with that suggestion. "attack them back"? what if the victim was wrongfully accused? what if the aggressor wrongfully accuses the victim of attacking them? suddenly the victim instead of the aggressor is the one who stands under attack by this non-governmental organization. attacking someone should never be the answer to anything. defend, yes, absolutely. but attack? never.
my suggestion about revenge porn would have so much kickback it would be insane, but i think it would be effective.
i think all pornography sites should be held responsible for an annual license which includes a written consent form from every actor that must be updated yearly. if they don't have the consent forms, the porn site would be shut down. we do this for alcohol and tobacco- make them have licenses. why not porn sites? we even do this for movies and music with censoring labels. why aren't we doing more in regards to porn sites? we would protect not only the victims of revenge porn, but also the victims of any sex crime. we would be protecting children.
our technology has moved fast, and our laws need to catch up.
ReplyI’ve been told there are places that can help with technology and work alongside someone who is being stalked and abused. I’m sure if they’re able to, they will help you safeguard your devices, get you an advocate, and maybe even support you in pressing charges on these people so you can stop them from doing it to other people. Hopefully people know they’re not alone when these people make them suffer.
ReplyYou are absolutely correct! This place I’m using dug up ALL of my old emails. Even from an email address I deleted 10 years ago. I was really surprised to find out that phone records from over 20 years ago can still be pulled with the locations. They will figure it all out and I can’t wait to make those aholes suffer!
