I don't have the motivation to do my homework. That's literally it. I feel like trash, we're hitting the end of the school year yet I can't get my F up to a D or C. My teachers gave me chances and even a few homework assignments but I literally just can't do it. That's all. I feel so weak saying this as I know many other people are struggling with more hard stuff and are more stressed about work/homework than me. I mean, it is my fault for not maintaining my grades and teachers still giving assignments for students who actually need them. It's my fault I have low grades anyway. It's not like an evil magical fairy just suddenly poofed my grades down. I feel so pathetic asking for help here as I know some other people here don't even get comments or something when they need more help than me :/.

I hate feeling different

Hey. I have the same exact problem you do. I'm assuming you do online schooling, right? I do. I remember at the start of this school year I was good with my assignments. Then in October, I started to get a bit behind on some assignments. That's when I started to care less about my assignments. It's horrible. I'm getting 2 F's in my classes. I know it's bad, and yet I can't do anything about it but sit here feeling bad for myself. I lost so much motivation to do anything. I don't exercise properly either. You know, it's hard getting motivation back. I do understand how you feel too, like everyone else is working hard meanwhile we're here feeling bad about ourselves but can't do anything to change. I want my motivation back. I think the problem for this is because I've been staying home for too long. I've adapted to my house and I just feel too relaxed. It's called Cabin Fever. Do you stay home everyday often too? Cabin Fever is when you stay home for long periods of time and you can lose motivation to do anything since you stay home for too long. We have to make goals for ourselves though. We can do better if we actually do it. Don't say you're going to get those grades up, just do it. I know it's hard, but we must prove that we can be responsible. I believe you and I can get our grades up together if we just do the work. It's a pain not having motivation, and I understand. But surely this feeling will go away soon, right? I'm here. And I do feel ridiculous at times because I don't think I'm responsible. Sometimes I think I'm useless. But we both have the ability to change how we see ourselves. If we just put in the good work and effort, we'll do something great with ourselves. While you're catching up on those assignments, I suggest listening to some good music. It helps me. We can both get our grades up. I believe in you.
ReplyWell first off you gotta figure out what you do during your free time instead of doing your requirements. Don't worry bestie I've been there too. Just last school year, actually. I used to just keep on gaming and chatting with friends and they've been really bad influences on me. Dont get me wrong I'm not saying you should avoid your friends or something, I thought it might open your eyes a little. Try to be more wary of your surroundings and actions.
Anyway I don't want to get into much detail but I transferred to another school since I can't take the work anymore. A new environment really helped me. I suggest you take notes in class or download the presentations your teachers use (if permitted to) and then when you do homework you can just copy it off the notes. Remember, good grades can get you a good job. Companies would fight over you just to get you to apply there, and then good salary (money!!). Don't get me wrong there are lots of successful people out there who didn't get enough education but that doesn't mean that you don't have a chance of having their life as well just because you didn't study.
Also about the lack of motivation, I'm sure you have hobbies or stuff you enjoy doing, right? Well, use them as your reward. Do your homework by basing off your notes whether you want to procrastinate or not. Just try your best and always remember that there'll always be a time for everything. I suggest making a to-do list in your head or something, and once you're done for the day, you can do whatever you want. Plus you'd have all the time for yourself when summer vacation starts- And bestie don't think that you're alone in this mkay? Everybody's going through something and you're not alone. And if there are many times when you failed or disappointed people including yourself, trust me when I say that it'll always happen. You'll keep on getting rejected and fail countless times, and that's okay. It's okay to be a perfectly normal human being. All that matters is you do your best in everything that you do, even in the simplest and smallest of things. Wanna know why? Small things, when collected and put together, can make huge changes. So just do your best and try to find happiness and contentment in even the most boring of things and you'll be fine. I know it's confusing and hard right now but you will get through it. Trust the process okie?<3 i really wish you luck in this
