A girl found pads in my backpacks and is now spreading rumors all around

Yesterday, a girl packed my backpack cause I had to do something, and I have pads in there, because, you know. So, today, somebody asked me, "Hey, do you have pads in your backpack?" I asked "Who told you that?" Then, she said it was this girl. I got mad because I wouldn't care if she knew but didn't tell anyone, but the fact she told someone else got me mad. Now I'm sitting here, embarrased and horrible.

Y u had pad in ur bp?
ReplyPeriods obviously.
ReplyI thought u r a boy. Don't get it y they d do smth like this. Don't be ashamed
ReplyWhy would some girl wanna spread rumors about that? It's not that interesting or anything?
ReplyWhy someone would willingly choose to not carry a pad doesn’t make sense. Where does she except you to bleed ? Onto your legs. Or maybe it’s the taboo of having a period. Either was the girl spreading the rumor is ignorant in this case.
ReplyIn what ridiculous culture is it taboo for a female to have a normal biological function.
ReplyJust be the adult and tell those others girls that it's something they'll have to deal with when they mature.
ReplyThat girl is immature, periods are normal, just because someone is scared of the, doesn't mean you should be embarrassed. You are prepared, just in case of a surprise, which she probably is not. That means you are more mature. Don't worry about the rumors, you're an amazing person who is growing up. Periods, pads, etc. are a normal part of life. If someone asks, just make a joke or shrug it off, maybe saying, "Yea, you need one?" regardless of their gender, and they won't ask again.
