Hi, I was planning to do something like this during the summer too. So far, I have just eliminated sugary drinks cause those are really a large factor in this. I think you should try finding healthier snacks if you want to add those in. There are healthy and tasty snacks. Trying to eliminate high fat or oily snacks is a good idea. This will definitely differ for you as it’s also the way you want to start that matters and what works best for you. I am just starting out too, and daily exercise is also super important for atleast 30-60 minutes a day.
ReplyIt’s all about proportions. You can eat any snack you like but in moderation. A bag of chips? Eat the recommended amount per serving on the back label. Candy? couple times every one/two weeks.
As long as your overall diet consists of healthy proteins and grains, lots of green vegetables, some nuts and fruits for snacks and healthy beverage choices, it is okay to indulge in sweets a couple of times a week.
Also drink lots of water and get your daily excercise. Whether it be yoga, cardio/a walk outside, etc, you will be fine :)
