i never thought that i would want a cucumber over a cheeseburger. my parents have been very relaxed lately on food. neither of them enjoy cooking, and we've been getting takeout a good bit. they also seem to be buying more junk food at the grocery store. i've noticed lately that i've been more sluggish and i'm breaking out more. i also get more bloated, and don't want to exercise as much. this is all pretty sudden. i think my parents have finally started to embrace the "baptist culture" at our church of overeating until you need pills to lower your cholesterol. i don't think our junk food intake is affecting our health a lot yet, but i have a very delicate stomach and the rest of family doesn't. i was also hoping to do some local modeling this summer. how do i ask them to get healthier food? should i volunteer to cook during the summer?

i don't necessarily hate eating, but i hate eating in front of other people. Not everyone but most people. I hate how people always ask about it, like why do yo...

Regret
TW: ED I honestly regret going on a restrictive diet. I don't know how I'll be able to recover on my own. I can't seem to get a doctor, dietitian, therapist...
Yes. Volunteering to cook is absolutely the way to gain control over your diet. Also they will get an idea of the foods you want to eat from what you choose.
Replythank you! i'll start researching recipes asap! ❤❤❤
ReplyHoly F! This is me 10 years ago! My parents (also religious and lazy) started stuffing junk food down our throats. Obese family. I rebelled. Went raw vegan, started exercising and went into a modeling career. I didn’t model much but I ended up acting in a few minor tv shows. Still raw vegan and LOVING cucumber. Family still fat and lazy lol. I tried changing them but you can’t change people. Anyway, You won’t regret going healthy, listen to your body! :)
Replythis is so encouraging to me!! thank you, truly. i'm going to edit the grocery list tomorrow. my mom is in charge of that and always talks about diets but never goes on them, so maybe i can change her mind. i also will have a lot of alone time to exercise. ❤❤❤
