Weird People Think Careers are Personal

Some people are just straight-up unbelievable! Here's what happened today:

I was in the mood to watch emotional movies and then cry, but I didn't really want to waste my time on lame movies. So I made a post in a public and active area on the internet on a venting app I'm already on for years, where I asked for some emotional movie suggestions.

Then, I did get many comments and suggestions. I got another comment from a guy who said "u can listen to my story".

Instead of replying to him, I sent him a personal message, and here is how everything went:

Me: Tell me your story

Him: first can u tell me where u from?

Me: No

Me: You said you will share your story

Him: I will

Him: Its because my English is not good enough

Me: I know Hindi [I made an assumption that he's Indian]

Him: to tbhi to pucha (So that's why I asked) [I am gonna translate the rest of the conversation to English from this point].

Him: If you're Indian, then may we converse in Hindi?

Me: Speak. (I'm not Indian but I know Hindi).

Him: **Proceeds to tell me his whole past, childhood, life story**

Me: **Emotionally supports him**

Me: What do you study at college? (I was curious about his academic life).

Him: This is my personal information.

Me: You are able to ask me of my place, but I am not able to ask you of something as professional as your career? Wow.

Him: But you never told me your place, right?

Him: And my profession is my personal information.

Me: There is a difference between professional and personal lives, but it's ok. Leave this if you are not comfortable sharing it.

Him: There is a difference between telling my story and then talking about my personal life. What do you do? Tell me this. Then I'll tell you mine.

Me: **Lies to him** I study Psychology.

Him: I study accountancy.

Me: That's a great field.

Him: Yup

Him: Yours too

Me: Thanks

Him: 🤗

Him: What is your age?

Me: **Lies to him** 20. (I'm younger)

Him: 23 is mine.

Me: Yes

Me: You told me already.

Him: Yup

Him: How did you land on this app?

Me: **Lies** For no reason.

Me: **Lies again** I was just bored.

Me: And you?

Him: Same (I suspect that he was lying to me).

Him: Yup

Him: Have you had dinner?

Me: Yes, and you?

Him: Yes

Him: Veg or non-veg?

Me: Nonveg (I'm actually veg but I'm forced to eat meat).

Him: Ok

Me: **Lies** I will have to leave now. I'm leaving.

Him: Ok

Him: Goodnight

Me: **Ignores him**

He's so weird. I can't believe he thinks sharing his past isn't personal.
