With purple cone flower
as tall as I, swaying in the breeze.
And on those flowers,
gathering fall's simple delights,
a waltzing couple of bumblebees.
Grinning, I tipped my hat
And wished the pair "Good day."
Whispering back their own hello,
Blew a kiss and sent me on my way.
