Blood boiling again

Need to write this somewhere nobody will see so it's off my mind. Reddit doesn't do it for me. Dad's off to buy a book as a wedding gift for this weekend. He doesn't know what he's gonna buy which means he's gonna choose something random. Something that probably won't be useful to the couple, that they might not even like.

I asked him twice to ask, just ask, my aunt for ideas. Easiest thing in the book. But he just won't do that. He doesn't want to go through the trouble of calling. So he's gonna choose something he thinks they'd like. He has no idea what they like so he'll choose randomly. It'll probably be cheap, and it'll probably be a dud. I can't understand what goes through his brain when he buys gifts. He is the most inconsiderate person in the freaking world when it comes to gift giving. I can't stand it.
